View this post on Instagram I’ve had two vaginal births and my last was a c section. When I’m asked if I feel like I missed out with the last having a cesarean, I answer, HELL TO THE NO. Just like my vaginal birth, I was nervous. Just like my vaginal, I had all my emotions, I had excitement, I had joy, I felt overwhelmed. Just like my vaginal, my husband was by my side and he held my hand. Just like my vaginal, I had pain and I had recovery. I heard my baby cry. He was placed on my chest. I touched his little hands and I kissed his little face. Just like my vaginal birth, my little baby and I met for the first time. I carried all three babies for 9 months. And just like my vaginal my baby was born. Did I miss out? No way. I just gave birth a different way. The only difference is that not only did I make a life, I saved both of ours. And my scar reminds me of all of that every day. A post shared by Laura Mazza (@themumontherun_) on Feb 14, 2019 at 11:46pm PST
